In the Beginning
Long before mortals walked the earth, the cosmos breathed as one. In the space between stars and silence, a vast tapestry of magical energy — known as the Veil — wove through all living things. From this Veil emerged Nyxaria: a realm of impossible beauty where ancient forests stretched beyond sight.
Glowing mushrooms lit cavern floors like fallen stars, and rivers ran silver with enchanted light. Two great forces shaped this world: the Moon Council, keepers of celestial wisdom, and the Verdant Court, stewards of the living earth.
For millennia, they kept the balance, and Nyxaria flourished. But balance is fragile. A great rift — born from ambition and forbidden magic — tore through the heart of the realm.
